Need more genre choices

Post by George Kaplan »

I had to assign Other Fiction as the genre for my new adult women's fiction title, Only Tim Sent Flowers, because no choice close fit. Is it acceptable to assign two genres to a book?

What genre is it? I believe one has to pick one genre.

The publisher lists it as new adult/humorous fiction/mainstream. It can also be considered women's fiction/contemporary. I didn't find a choice similar to any of these. Perhaps I overlooked something.

In that case I think other fiction is fine. @Scott?

Other fiction covers a lot of ground.
