Song Of The Day Suggestions

Post by steampunk_girl »

1. I feel like SOTD could be sorta like BOTM where you can earn a few popularity points from participating in the daily song reviews.

2. Song Of The Day should be more advertised in my opinion because it is another way for us as people to connect - through different opinions on songs

3. Not a suggestion but just saying the songs so far are great!

Oh I'm so glad to hear that you want the song of the day feature to get more exposure. I put on of the topics as a global announcement for a bit a few days ago, but then I took it off because I was worried I was being to pushy. I think I will do it that way in the future. The most recent SOTD will be a global topic. That should get it some attention. :)

Members can also "subscribe" to the Poetry and Music Forum which will cause them to get emailed about new topics. The link is in the footer when viewing that forum. Granted, all the new posts might not be SOTD posts but most should be.

Also, if you subscribe to the YouTube channel and turn on notifications for the channel, I believe you will be sent email notifications when videos are added to the playlist. However, you would have to both subscribe and then click the little setting icon and check to receive notifications.
