Bookshelves - Not Automatically Adding Review Books

Post by bookowlie »

When the Bookshelves section was introduced here, my review books were automatically added when the reviews were published. I just noticed the past few books I've reviewed are not on my Bookshelves. Should I now be adding them in the same way I add books that are not review books?

I just tried to add one of the missing books and it's not showing up after adding it.

It should have been added automatically. Maybe it is a glitch.

Hi Gali, After I wrote my original post, I went and looked through my review books. There are 5 recently reviewed books that weren't auto-added. What's also strange is that, as I mentioned, I tried manually adding one of them and it wouldn't go through.

Odd. @"Scott" will take care of it when he sees this post.

Great catch bookowlie!

The books actually were being automatically added to your shelves. They were being added to the bottom of your shelves, so that you would need to click the 'show' button since they were in the hidden part of the shelf. The problem was that the 'show' button wasn't working on some of shelves! I have fixed it.

Thanks Scott. I just checked my Shelves and the books are showing up now. I had clicked "show rest" yesterday, but not all of the rating's buttons were working.

On a related note, the Reviewer Page link on Bookshelves is not working; it leads to an error page.
