I apologise heartily for being so stupid and know there's probably something incredibly simple I've not done but I really wanted to join the 'Bookshelves' forum and filled in my current and recent reading matter, but by my username it still says 0 books read. What have I done wrong?

At least I've edited to eradicate heavy finger syndrome. I thought I had done as you suggest, Gali, and it didn't seem to work. Oh well, my book preferences aren't of much interest. Thanks, anyway.

@gali I think @debbiebee means the number in the mini-profile on the side of her posts in the forum.
I had previously decided to only update that information once a day, when the rankings are updated. I have updated it so that now whenever one adds a book to their shelves, the count on the forum profile should be instantly updated.
