Technical Issue with Checking Reviewer Score

Post by bookowlie »

When I go to my Reviewer Page, it doesn't allow me to check my score, even though I haven't refreshed my score since yesterday. This problem has occurred on and off in the past several days. The page states that the last time my score was checked was January 24 at 11:40 AM, yet I still can't refresh the score this morning (January 25th).

I wonder if there's a general problem with the reviewer pages as I can't do this either- and haven't since Jan 14th - but also, I can't mark a review book as Finished- and I'm not sure what should happen as it's my first one!

It shouldn't be that way. It is probably a glitch.

I have investigated these issues and have had trouble recreating them. I suspect they are resulting from some changes I made to the recommended cache settings the server sends to browsers. These may have mistakenly caused the internet browser to cache the pages in question. On the review score page, for instance, the reason then you would see the message about it being too soon to check your score is that the browser is actually showing you an offline copy of the page as you viewed it a day or two ago. If this is the case, it can be resolved by clicking reload in your browser.

In any case, I have adjusted the cache recommendations to correctly tell browsers not to cache those dynamic pages.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

OK Scott, you are getting very technical. For someone who is techno-challenged, that's way above my paygrade :icon-lol: :icon-lol:

Anyway, thanks for resolving the issue.
