Pending review question
I posted my first review on December 23rd and it still says pending editor approval on my review home page. I noticed the page says please allow up to 48 hours for a review to be marked as published. I'm just wondering if that just means when the review is approved and published, it may take up to 48 hours to show as being published, or if the 48 hours is the expected turn around time from being posted to being published?
Also, my second review was rejected for a couple grammar and punctuation errors. I could not find any procedures for this situation so I made the corrections and resubmitted the review to this forum. This review still shows up as rejected and I'm just wondering how to remedy this.
Thank you.

About the second matter, Scott will be better suited to answer you. If you pm him, ask him about that as well.

Under your history on the review team page where it says the review was rejected, there should be a link that shows the reasons. On that page with the reasons, it should also explain the procedures regarding rejected reviews. If the review was rejected after being submitted, then another reviewer will be assigned.mullman2002 wrote:I appologize if this is answered elsewhere or not the correct forum but I couldn't find any answers on my own.

Now, I can't find it to make the needed changes. I've seen other rejected reviews but I can't find that screen again.
Is there any way you can notify reviewers via email to tell them their reviews have been rejected and attach the link?
I'm headed back out there to see if I can find my review.
Thanks!
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

It should be on your Review Team Page.khudecek wrote:I'm sorry to be so dumb but I can't find anything about my history. Where will I find that?

Just to clarify for this newbie. My first review was rejected so somebody else will now review this book? Do I move on to a new review? Will the rejected review keep affecting my review score?Scott wrote:If the review is rejected, you aren't able to do a rewrite. Someone else will review the book. Yes to all the questions. As far as score, it will have minimal impact as you do more reviews if those reviews are approved.Sarita Everson wrote:Just to clarify for this newbie. Two things -- Firstly, the message you see is in reference to all reviews not just paid ones. Secondly, the delay of 24 hours means that you do not see a given review opportunity until 24 hours after that review opportunity is visible by the highest level reviews, which gives higher level reviewers first dibs.Amera7 wrote:Hi Scott - I think there is something wrong with my profile - it says I can start doing paid reviews in 24 hours- but its been a week and the same message is still up there. I think its stuck. Can you fix?
