How do I paste my second review as a topic, how do I reply?

Post by Anna Meyer »

Hi, I need some help. If one of my reviews has been rejected, how do I paste my second revised review? How do I reply on the existing topic where my first review has been rejected? Thank you.

Open a new thread and post the revised review.

I see you have already 2 reviews posted.

Hi Gali, no that was on the last book I reviewed, it posted twice, since I couldn't saw it reflected the moment I submitted it, I thought it didn't went through, when I went on again, I saw it was duplicated - couldn't delete one anywhere. But it was the previous book review that was rejected that I wanted to correct, but when I wanted to, it said that my topic is already on the list and that I should reply on that post, but I couldn't find a way to reply on the post where the review was rejected. Let me see what I can do now. Check everything again. Thanks.

Hi Gali, I see it doesn't say Rejected anymore? Can I however post my second review anyhow? I thought maybe I haven't said much on the topic of the book, that is was rejected because I could have mentioned more about the topic discussed in the book? Should I just leave it like this? My 2nd review tells more about the contents of the book, so people can know what it is about? Review on "The No Nonsense Guide on Diverticulosis and Diverticulitis".

I see your review was given a book cover and a link. If you want to submit a revised review, perhaps you should pm Scott about it and ask for his advice.

Maybe I don't understand the process ... when I go into my profile or reviewers score page, it still said below that particular review, that it was rejected and closed on 1 Nov? I don't really understand what the "closed" means? And whether its expected of me to re-write the review and add it again as a revised review...
So I posted a new topic as a Revised Review, just now... maybe you or Scott can explain to me, how rejected reviews work and the process involved about it? Sorry for causing confusion on this topic! I'm also not sure how I "pm" Scott about this?

The other question when posting a Review as a New Topic: Many times there isn't enough space to type the whole Title of the book, in the New Topic space given... but then I just type as far as it takes me... ?

If a review is rejected, one needs to submit a new revised review. Usually a review is rejected if the paragraphs aren't formatted as required or if it doesn't meet the official review team guidelines.

You can read about it here:

How to Format Paragraphs in Reviews

And here:

REVIEW TEAM AND REVIEW REQUEST ISSUES - Read this first

To send Scott a private message (a pm), go to his profile page and press the "Send private message" button.

Actually, if the review is showing as rejected that means I have sent it to someone else to review because I rejected it. You do not need to rewrite it.
