Drop in level

Post by ALRyder »

I saw that I was dropped from a level 5 to a level 4. I have reviewed well over 3 books, and some of them were paid. My reviewer score is also quite a bit above 70. I saw that the page was being updated earlier today, so I may be jumping the gun here, but I just was hoping to get back up to a level 5 as soon as possible. I'm not currently reading a book through the site, and it's always nice to be one oftl the first to see them :P

I am not having that issue per say as I am in the process of reviewing a book but now I have no way to update the status when I am ready, not sure what is going on with it.

My level is 5 and has been so for quite a while. Now it says on my review page that it is 4 though my score is much more higher from the minimum required. I presume it is an error. Scott, can you please fix the error? Thank you.

I notices the change the day after the update to the review page, so I'm assuming that it has something to do with changes made that day. Can you keep us posted to any change for you? It's been a few days and I haven't heard anything or seen a change.

I was alarmed about this at first because my level dropped too. If you go to the about levels and scores page it looks as though the minimum score for each level has been increased. This sucks and I'm sure that there is a reason for it but still... it sucks. I worked hard to get to my level only to have the bar raised once again.

I checked the Level's page, rechecked my score and even based on the new criteria I should still be a Level 5. I think it has something to do with the update that just happened. Waiting for Scott to weigh in.

In some cases it may be just an error in the system. Despite the changes in the minimum scores, my score is still higher than the minimum. So I still should be level 5 and not 4.

I'm having the same issue. Mine was 5 before the review team page error and I still meet the requirements for 5, but it's gone down.

I ended up accepting a book, but it wouldn't let me download it for two days. So I kind of feel your pain. Hopefully you were able to get your review up by now though.

Mine dropped by one level as well, so maybe they just changed the criteria.
