Why does my review keep getting rejected?

Post by jamespoet »

I posted my review twice, and both times I did the rating system as was stipulated in the guidelines. But both times the review was rejected, and no matter how many times I went back to edit the post and boldline the rating, it still rejects it. What am I doing wrong?

I think the problem is with your spaces (the # sign is redundant). Also you can't give half stars rating. You have to rate the book on a scale of 1 to 4 stars with 1 being the worst and 4 being the best.

But that's the thing: I did give the one to 4 rating. Unless of course they don't allow the word "star" in that either...

OK, I edited resubmitted the review (apparently even the edits weren't allowed anymore) and it accepted it. So I feel beter about it now. Thanks so much for your help.

On the other reviews you gave it 2.5 stars.

I am glad it worked out for you and you are welcome. :)

Yeah, my stubborn selfhad to figure that out after tinkering with it. I'm still learning how to use the forum and what-not. I promise I'll get the hang of things soon enough.

It's much appreciated. I'd picked another book to review, but I found that I couldn't finish it because I didn't realize it was a paranormal thriller and those kinds of books don't hold my interest. I filled the online form for why I couldn't finish it, so I'm not sure what I am to do now after I filed the form...

The author probably asked for a free review, which are apparently ignored.

Free reviews have nothing to do with that. I have reviewed plenty of free books and I finished them on time.
