How can I include a pic in a post?

Post by Hearty Guy »

I tried clicking on the Img button above on the full editor, and pasting in a URL that I copied from Google page where the image was, and I tried several ways but none of them worked. All I could do was copy the URL link and post the whole link for the reader to click on and go to. But that is clumsy. It's nice to just read and see the picture right there.

I know that I must be doing something wrong.

You need to copy and post the URL link, mark it and click on the img.

Here is an example:

Do the several pictures all have something in common such as all being pictures taken by camera or downloaded from the same site? They may either be too big in dimension or be too big in file size. Do you know the file size and/or dimensions of the pictures?

The picture is probably just too big.

I am thinking about making an image resizer tool, not just for this forum but for general use to help people resize images.

There are some online ones out there that are simple to use. Don't have a url on hand, but google would turn them up. You just upload the image, input the size requirements and download the newly resized image.
You can't put a rope around the neck of an idea.
