Re: [REOPENED] No books to review?

Post by LoveMusic_AK »

I am at enough posts to get a review but I'm not getting any. I really need to start reviews because I need to get a paid one. I'm really desperate because I'm trying to save money to go to a concert. I don't have a job and this is my only hope. :(

LoveMusic_AK, if you are looking to use the review system to make money, then I think you are going to have problems. I have been a member here for two months and I haven't had any paid review yet, and I know from some other members who have been here much longer that paid reviews are infrequent. The system is designed to make you prove your writing and critical skills before paid reviews come your way, so it might take a while before you make any money here.

Even then, there are hardly any paid reviews. Most are free ones and I have been here longer.

Just write for free for a while and get better at your writing skills. Once you do that people will want to pay you to review their books when they see you talents. It's not all about getting paid. I joined because I love reading and writing. My friend jasmine told me about this website and I thought I should check it out. I registered today. :)

Since adding the new levels, I have also been pushing through more opportunities. There seems to be more than enough reviews to go around now, with new opportunities being released every day.

I am level 3 but I can only see 2 books? And also it says:
Yikes! No reviews for you?!
but there are reviews for me. Is this a problem?

It means that you have only 2 books on your list. You can of course pick one of them to read and review.

Indeed.

:) Sometimes, it is really just the little things that make a website more user-friendly and navigable. I have just now altered that message to reflect whether there are no reviews available or just a few.
