Re: Official Review: Blood Storm by Sam Waas

Post by DennisK »

I just finished reading Blood Storm. I give it a 4 out of 4. I was happy to learn that his friendship with the police is on the mend. He has also started a relationship with a mob boss. I have the feeling this new character will surface again in subsequent novels. Good old Mitch straddles the law-line which makes for interesting stories. To compare Blood Spiral with Blood Storm, I think Mitch is much more developed in Blood Storm. I felt he was portrayed as being more realistic with his love relationships. Mitch's tastes in music and love of billiards builds a good deal more into the character - that, and his personal challenges with his past.

Thanks for the good vibes. I'd appreciate if you'd edit your review and delete the Ray Burgess brother sentence, since it's a spoiler. But that's your decision.

The new book, Blood Vengeance, will be published soon. Publisher & I are starting on the final revisions.

Thanks again.

By the way, folks who've read this book, I'd appreciate your posting a review on Amazon. I'm not asking for a high rating, just an honest assessment.

Thanks. The reviewer was fair and assessed the book very thoroughly, and gave potential readers a good insight into whether they would want to buy it.

Incidentally, this isn't a trilogy per se. It's a continuing series and I'm working of the 4th novel now, Blood Betrayal.

Oh, I thought there would be only three books, but it's better that it's a continuing series! :)

Well, sometimes I get frustrated with my writing and I have to keep plugging away to get that 4th book finished. It's about 30,000 words right now but it still needs a bunch of work. Keeps me off the streets, hey?

I'd appreciate that anyone who reads my books, please post a review on Amazon.

Great review! The book seems like it has all the right ingredients - complex characters, vivid setting, and an interesting plot. Congrats to our own ModernTimes on receiving a 4-star review!

Thanks, always.

I'm again asking anyone who has read my books to post an Amazon review. I would never ask for a big favorable rating, just an honest one.
