I love using my iPad for graphic novels. It's just more convenient.

Yes it's easier and more instant. Living in a small town with no book shop it just makes everything better

I've recently discovered that my local library loans out e-books via OverDrive Media, and have been loving it. It's so easy to browse and check, and return books any time, anywhere. Plus, it's just wonderful to be able to read a nice, thick book on the go, without having to lug it in my already rather heavy bag-- that is the unbeatable edge that has converted me despite my still unwavering belief that the reading experience is still best with the physical pages in my hands. No, and I don't think I ever will! Reading eBooks are much more convenient, as they are more easily portable and there are thousands of books at your fingertips! But nothing beats the seemingly 'old-fashioned' way to read with a physical book in your hands.

I don't think I could ever do that! I prefer to have a physical book in my hands when I read,

I can read on my iPad but I'd prefer to read from a tangible book because I'm able to get more of a sense of satisfaction when I can close the cover after finishing the book?

I have a kindle and I have to admit I enjoy reading on it, but I also enjoy opening a book and feeling the actual pages. I read using both, and have started more books from my kindle, but I don't ever think I could switch to e readers completely.

i use both. When i want to carry light, i use my iPad, because it's less weight than an actual book, but i could never give up traditional books.

I used to read on my tablet all the time. Then it broke down, and I'm back to my trustworthy old books.

I have an android phone that I use for e-reading but yes, once I had the capability to get books not only instantly but sometimes free and for less, I was converted. Unfortunately book stores are almost a thing of the past. I can see using regular books for small children and babies that don't understand yet that electronics are fragile but other than that e-books are just less expensive and more convenient.

Don't listen to albums anymore - all iTunes
Can't remember last time I looked at a map and didn't just plug address into a Garmin/GPS
Buy a calendar just for the pictures, if I want to know date or where to be I look at my phone
Newspaper - just the free sheets if I'm on the train.

I still like a good book - maybe it's just a matter of time :)

I read almost exclusively ebooks on my iPad (from the library). Being able to turn off the light and read the large type without my glasses is great. Now when I have to read a traditional book, turning side to side to read the pages at different angles just drives me crazy.

Also, my library has Nooks and Kindles to check out. They have a selection of 30 or so books preloaded. It's a good way to try out an ereader or just take one for vacation. Also, the wait list for the ereader is usually shorter than for the individual books (both traditional and downloaded ebooks).
