I used to just use my iPad mini, but now my daughter has taken over that.
I purchased a nook glow light and I love the battery life on that one as well as I can read it outside with no issues.
I also have the nook tab 4 since I list the mini to my daughter, I can access the web while reading.
And I just picked up the original kindle with the keyboard from a Facebook garage sale site for 10 bucks.
I like all three for different reasons, and take all three with me on vacation which is a little extreme, but depending on what book(s) I am reading, I am never without one.

Of course, I still prefer *actual* books to e-books, but the e-readers are less bulky for traveling, and convenient to read at night (I can turn out the lights!).
