I have a kindle fire. I love it! I had the nook color before and enjoyed it however, I felt that the kindle is not only more user friendly but family friendly. All those that have children understand your gadgets and gizmos are not yours they are your children's :o . The kindle allows me to have my books but also allows my kids to have their space for reading and games.

I have a Kindle Fire. I wanted an eReader, but a tablet as well and this fit my criteria and my budget. I love it

I have both.

I used to just use my iPad mini, but now my daughter has taken over that.

I purchased a nook glow light and I love the battery life on that one as well as I can read it outside with no issues.

I also have the nook tab 4 since I list the mini to my daughter, I can access the web while reading.

And I just picked up the original kindle with the keyboard from a Facebook garage sale site for 10 bucks.

I like all three for different reasons, and take all three with me on vacation which is a little extreme, but depending on what book(s) I am reading, I am never without one.

I have a nook because I got it as a gift. I do have the kindle app on my iPhone, though I also have the nook, google play, and overdrive apps (great for getting ebooks from the library).

I have a Kindle because my husband refused to buy me anymore books. Now he just pays the monthly bill without hearing "Can we go to the book store?"

Kindle because it was easier to get my hands on one of those compared to a Nook.

I have a Kindle. My mom gave me hers cause she never used it. I still like buying paperback books. I like it cause I can read some of the classic for free.

I started with a Nook HD+, and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, my charger bit the dust, and it was difficult to find a replacement, so I decided to "upgrade" to a Kindle. Benefits of the Kindle? Easy to watch Amazon Prime...and not much else. A lot of the Android apps I used on my Nook are not available in the Amazon Store. I also preferred the Nook in terms of reading.

Of course, I still prefer *actual* books to e-books, but the e-readers are less bulky for traveling, and convenient to read at night (I can turn out the lights!).

I have a kindle because it was more affordable and I feel like I can do more things on this tablet than I could an e-reader like nook.

Throughout the years I have accumulated two nooks and one kindle. I like the nook the best though.

I have a Kindle because my husband got it for me as a present. I love it as I can borrow books from my library even when we are on vacation so I can never run out of new reading material. :)

I have a kindle, it was the first ereader I was ever aware of. I have upgraded my devices on a regular basis, and have purchased endless amounts of books for them. I currently own a kindle touch (which I will never get rid of because it was the last of their ereader models to offer audio book play as part of the reader. I also own one of the later versions of the Paperwhite, a Fire (which I consider more of a game tablet) and a Voyage. I am totally uninterested in the Oasis, which I don't like the shape of. Having so many previous devices means I have extras for charging so I always have a device on me ready to go. I have used my brothers Nook, and have a nook reader app on my cell phone. The new nooks seem more like tablets than ereaders though. I like having access to both just in case B&N has a book unavailable for my kindle via Amazon.

I have a Nook reader, an Ice Cream Reader and a Kindle reader on my HP Pavilion laptop with Windows 8.1. By far, the Nook is the slowest to open and is quite hard to manipulate. When I down load an Ebook on my Nook reader I could not get it to open and I keep going back to the last book I read. Any solutions?
