Prefered Types of e-Readers?

Post by Sky Princess »

I was given an older version of a kindle tablet. I rarely use it for anything but e-books, though, since the apps I'd use are incompatible with the old system. It's great for travel and indoors, but the glare from the sun makes out door reading impossible. I'm considering investing in a new product. Should I stick with kindle? Or are there better options out there?

Which ereader you choose is a personal choice. I use a Kobo Touch with an e-ink display to prevent eye strain and because epub format is supported by Kobo, and that is the most common format I receive when I go looking for books to read.

I see your post was from February. Did you make a decision?

I have a kindle and I love it but it does get hard to read in the sunlight but not enough that I would buy something else.
