I love to read because I enter another world and I imagine everything that happens there.Books are my best friends, they have always been because I don't really have any best friends except my mom and books.

Reading is the best thing for me because it feels as if I am living through multiple characters and engaging on the journey with them.

I pick up a book and read and forget everything else going on around me. My kids are teenagers going off to college in the fall, they complain I don't even hear them when I am reading.

Since my early childhood I have always enjoyed reading. Reading helped me to develop and use my imagination during boring periods in my life.

I completely agree, you get to immerse yourself into a complete fantasy and leave all your worries and troubles behind for an hour or two and it's very therapeutic.

Reading makes me more "human," as in more understanding of the plights of humanity around the world. There are people and situations I will never meet except through books, and reading becomes an exercise to sympathize with others.

I love it, but tv and cinema are also just as vital to me. Books certainly go into the most depth.

Reading is the only thing that calms me down for a bit! Although I love my Netflix shows, nothing feels as relaxing as a good read!
