Romance! I love a good romance and if you throw a little action into the mix even better!

Action all the way, but a good romance and action combo is even better.

I love books that's related to romance with a little bit of suspense or thrill. But lately, I began loving action drama content books. Perhaps, there is stage in our lives that we particularly love each.

why not both i read action and romance books combined and not just romance or just action. To be honest to read an action book and a romantic book combined gives you a rush and excitement that reading one genre will not give you such a thrill . :D :P

I love action in my books and that's especially so for Dystopian books. Romance is okay for me in minimal amounts.

Both! It doesn't draw me in if it's only a romance book. Most of them are way too cliche, anyways. But if you throw some action in and develop the romance REALLY slowly without making it one obvious ride along the whole book, then all the better for it!

That was what I said months ago, and I still stand by it. However, I now find myself reading contemporary and/paranormal (which don't have much action) romances as well. A lot more. Now, I think both action and romance are good for me, and they don't even necessary have to even exist in the same book.

Hmm. Wonder what changed for me.

I like a little bit of romance...but I just love a lot of action in my books. I particularly love fighting scenes and adventure. I find it to be very engaging and draws you in immediately. When romance is added, I prefer it in smaller doses.

A mix of the two! But I'm a sucker for a clean christian romance novel.

I'm a guy, so action all the time. In Dave Barry's new book "You Can Date Boys When You're Forty," he compares romance and action novels, and explains why the latter appeals to him, and the others don't.

Sometimes I get sick of romance and read action only books. Then I miss romance books so I go back to those books. I try to read books that have action and romance in it. Those books are just right- PERFECT.

I like a mixture of both! Although I prefer it to be heavier on the action then the romance.
