It doesn't really affect it one way or the other that I have noticed.

I like rain. The soft patter on the window and roof is soothing. Sometimes the sun makes the page a glaring white. Reading in a tree, sheltered from the rain while it falls is awesome!

Rain unless you are outside then your book will get wet. Haha.
I like reading when it is raining because of the relaxation effect.

Good Question,

Both, but it really depends on my mood. Also, both are better indoors.

It was a dark and stormy night..... yes. Rain for me. I like to read my scary books in the worst of weather. Stormy and the darkness of night just sets the mood.

Rain somehow seems like perfect reading weather.....of course not to go outside but to stay inside and immerse yourself in a book :)

I like rain better. It makes me feel better and sets the calm mood for my reading into another world.
Sun is okay but is gets boring and or too hot.
You know what the best thing is:snow!I love to read when it's snowing or when the snow is around me on the ground.

Rain hands down! Snuggling up on the couch with some hot tea and a warm blanket during a rainy evening is my perfect setting to read a book.

I hate the rain... and snow.. and pretty much is anything falls out of the sky, I hate it. Including sunshine (my skin is super sensitive).
But I hate rain the most because getting my feet wet makes me angry.
