I replaced my Kobo Glow with the Kindle Paperwhite and haven't looked back since. It is so much more reliable, and I have recommended it to other friends too.

I have both an iPad and a Paperwhite that I use. Both have good points. If weight is an issue, go with the Kindle. However, if you are reading a graphic novel, you definitely want color and it displays with larger frames on my iPad. Plus on my iPad, I can use the Overdrive app so I can read ebooks from the library that might not be available in Kindle format.

HTH!

I currently have the Paperwhite and I love it. I have had the original kindle and the kindle fire, and I love the paperwhite the best. If you love to sit outside to read it is the best for that, I sat at the beach and had no problem with glare from the sun.

During the holiday season Amazon usually has very good deals on their Kindles. What version of the Paperwhite would you suggest? I had the first Kindle and loved reading on it, but it has long since stopped working.

Totally agree!

I have my Kindle Paperwhite as a gift from my eldest son and I am happy with it. It is lightweight, can carry a lot of books in its memory, low on battery use, easy on the eyes, and can be used to download free books as long as you have Kindle reader like Kindle Fire or Kindle Paperwhite. I am satisfied with it!

I got my Kindle paperwhite as a gift and now it has grown on me.
Will you gift yourself with the new Kindle Paperwhite?
Try it!

If you decide to replace it, I'd recommend kindle paperwhite 11th generation. I got it for $70 last year and am very happy with its battery life and features.
