I will definitely be checking out these resources. I don't know if it's a Canadian thing, or just my part of the country, where the public library does not offer Kindle books. I've been thinking of finding a way to easily borrow books. Makes it that much more convenient! Thank you.

It's just your public library because (big scoop!) I'm from Canada too! More precisely, Québec :)! ;)

I didn't know that before today but now I do and that seems like a good idea. I look forward to seeing how that works out.

Only you can't use the websites or Amazon Prime to borrow or lend books in Australia. You can only borrow ebooks from the library. But But it's a good start

Thanks for this info! I’ve been looking for new sources. I haven’t seen anything on Amazon that I really want to try for a while now. I tried to set up my library on my Kindle, but the selection was pretty limited.

I didn't know about theses sites - what a great idea. I shall have to do a bit of research as there are some I can't use from where I am in Europe. The local library doesn't have ebooks in English, so at the moment I rely on buying them from Amazon.

Thanks for the info. I didn't even know you could borrow ebooks from your public library nor did I know about the other sites named. I have a lot of books on my Kindle that I would be willing to share.

Yes, these are great ideas. I think I should get something like that set up here.

Thanks for this! I borrow books from my library but since I live in a small town the choices are limited. It's nice to know they're other options.

I love that my little local library even has e-lending. It doesn't have quite the selection as probably a larger library would, but it does have a huge selection of books that I can borrow for 2 weeks at a time. I love it!
