Has anyone switch fully to eBook/iPad reading?

Since December of last year, I read my Kindle exclusively. I love it! I really like that I can take all of my books with me in 1 small device. It fits in my purse or totebag and quick and easy to turn on and choose my book. I get a lot of my books free through Amazon so I don't spend a lot on then. There are a few authors I'm willing to pay more for their books, but they are still usually a little less than "real" books. I have the Kindle Touch, so it's not backlit. I have a little light that I use for night time reading if I need it.

Well, I need to qualify this post by saying that I read my Kindle almost exclusively! I bought a book on Amazon that I had to have, but it's not available in ebook format. In fact I bought 2 copies.....one for me and one for my sister

Yah I am thinking to switch off to reading Ebooks. It is for this reason I have stopped reading paper books. Yah reading on ipad also seems interesting. You can down load e books from internet on your downpad.

I have a Kindle; originally I bought it so I wouldn't have to carry my college textbooks back and forth everyday. I can see the convenience of having one, and maybe I should give it more of a chance, but I still enjoy the feeling of holding an actual book in my hands. I think the fact that you can't turn pages on e-books is what makes me most apprehensive about the switch. Then again, there's a good and bad to everything right?

I use my Kindle for about 80% of my reading. I still buy paperbacks at the used bookstore once in while. Have to keep them in business. Haven't gotten an e-book from the library yet. Everything I want has a waiting list.

I tend to read much quicker on my Kindle. It is also much more convenient, obviously. I tend to read quite a bit on my iPhone using the Kindle app. I can read a few pages when I am waiting in line at a store or a few chapter when waiting for my daughter at gymnastics. Much easier than packing a book around in my purse!

I have a Nook and I am trying. But there is something about holding a book that is just great. What usually happens is that I leave the Nook and read a book just to get the 'nice" feeling of holding a book. My family thinks that I am nuts.

I have been traveling for over 5 months n my iPod touch is more convenient to read, but I hate how expensive the books are and that you can't lend or borrow books from people. If I paid for the book, I should be allowed to let someone else use it. I spend too much money on books in the iBook app.

I have an ipad and although it's easy to use and you can take it anywhere, i still love sitting down with a nice paperback more than it

My side read at the minute is Dr Zhivago & I love it but Lord I wish it was on my Kindle .... the print is driving me crazy. If I had it on my Kindle I could increase the font size & save my eye strain.

I almost fell straight into the iPad/Kindle app stranglehold, but have actually reverted to buying physical books from local stores. Good for the economy/market.

I read my ebooks-pdf in my ipad. Although, I prefer reading real books for research and studying because I can highlight texts directly in the book and I can write some notes with pencil in the pages

I think for quick tutorial readings iPad, tablets, netbook, kindle and nook is most likely the choice.

iPad is much easier to read in bed, and not having to have a light on is more favorable to my wife. I like the feel of paper though, so am not fully engaged in the revolution.

Yeah, I'm kind of an old timer. I have moved beyond vellum and candles though.
