I've read both Life of Pi (twice) and Water for Elephants this year so I voted for Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie. If the other two books win though, people won't be disappointed. Both are on my list of favorite books ever. They are great!

So will we be reading Life of Pi or Water for Elephants? I don't want to buy the wrong one.

Both are great and are worth buying. We do need someone to vote for one or the other to break the tie though don't we?!!!

I'll also go for this - Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen

It's a good book.

So then I guess it's Water For Elephants. I wonder what happened to our moderator?

I am wondering that myself, but I'm sure life got hectic for him
or something.

Water for Elephants reads pretty fast. I think it can be done fairly easily in two weeks!

We'll do Water for Elephants because it has a higher rating and higher sales record on Amazon.
