Thank you! This is an exceptionally good recommendation for this book, since it comes from one who struggles with the same issue as the author. I think I need to check this out.

I appreciate the fact that this was written from the perspective of someone who has both personal and professional experience with OCD - I'm sure that make sure this a uniquely valuable account. I studied psychology myself so this is something I am personally interested in - can't wait to read it!

Although I neither have OCD, nor know anyone close to me that is directly afflicted, this sounds like it can be extremely beneficial to maintain awareness of what many of us may only peripherally know about. This could come in handy as an educator who has someone with OCD learning from them, a leader who leads, and as a guideline for humanity in general. Thank you for the review.

I really enjoyed reading your review. I just downloaded this book to my Kindle so that as I am reading other books I can read this one slowly. I have minor OCD, but even dealing with the minor side to it, it can be a bit overwhelming. Not only to myself, but to my husband as well. I think after reading this I can get some insight, like you did. I'm glad someone chose to do the review on this book so that others can have a chance to see what this disorder is about from a firsthand point.

I, being a doctor, decided to read this to get to know the personal aspect of patients with psychological disorders. I have seen some patients, during my psychiatry rotation, with obsessive compulsive disorder. So I somewhat know how to deal them professionally and I always did my level best to have a personal insight and be more empathetic. That's why, I started reading this book. But it was something more than whatsoever i thought about it. It hooked me from the very start and first time I felt like I'm living that life.. and this experience was amazing and way more different than merely treating them. It changed my insight, not just about OCD but EVERY SINGLE MENTAL AILMENT.

Thanks for such a good review! I don't have OCD but I'm glad this book is helpful for those that do and accurate. I might not read it but if I do, it's good to know I'll be a little more informed about the condition.

It's an exciting journey you are on, eager to discover the unknown about yourself, to delve into the dark depths and discover something about yourself that you never knew existed, but confused you in some way. To throw light on these hidden undercurrents, to be able to tackle your private demons, this book is a fantastic eye-opener, particularly as it is a personal and intimate journey of Dr. James Manning himself. Oh Yes, I look forward to reading the whole book!!!

I had never heard of OCD before but this seems like a good book for people with that condition. I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing this review with us although i don't think i am going to read this book because i don't know anyone suffering from OCD.
When people say you've changed, it just means that you have stopped living your life, their way.

Thank you very much for this review.
I was not so sure about how useful this book could be, but after your details about how this book can help those who don't suffer OCD but can be close to someone who does, I think this book is worth reading.
Thanks again.
