He has had an amazing life, all right. Maybe some new treatment will save his last long life. Let's hope!

This sounds like an interesting book about an inspirational person who lived life to the fullest. Something most of us do not.

I am not yet convinced, but maybe I should try to read the entire pages of this book for me to be satisfied.

I like the review on A Peripatetic Life by Raymond Walley because its setting of being in the South and the historical tone. I enjoyed the extensive review and that it includes no spoiler. I am looking at treading this before summertime.

Stories from rags to riches and from grass to grace are not rare occurrences, what is however, peculiar about Raymond Walley's case is the uncommon transition from menial laborer to ivory tower. It is an honest reminder especially to his audience that impossibility is a mere hypothesis when determination is put to work.
