Whether you’re a notice entrepreneur hoping to gain traction with an audience, an established blogger looking to expand into print, or a seasoned business-woman hoping to attract a larger customer base, Twitter Marketing: The Launch, Tips and Tricks: From Beginner to Expert, by Froilan Dugeno, is a must read. This short, incredibly helpful marketing book helps readers plan and execute Twitter marketing strategies that are tailored to their specific goals. Readers will learn marketing approaches that will help them expand their online presence on Twitter and create a “buzz” for their brand, product, or business.

As a reader, I was amazed at how user-friendly Dugeno’s Twitter Marketing: The Launch, Tips and Tricks: From Beginner to Expert truly is. Not only does the author give readers simple, step-by-step guides for setting up and enhancing their Twitter experience, but he provides in-text hyperlinks to other resources, as well. Dugeno also includes checklists for what NOT to do, as a business-minded Twitter user. Furthermore, readers can use the marketing strategies that they learn from this book and apply them to other social media platforms, as well.

One of the most beneficial aspects of Twitter Marketing: The Launch, Tips and Tricks: From Beginner to Expert is the versatility of the content within. Dugeno takes marketing strategies that may be intimidating to novice Twitter users or entrepreneurs and he makes them easy to understand and apply. At the same time, he also offers advanced stratagems and guidance to readers with higher levels of marketing experience. No matter what their professional background might be, Dugeno gives readers the tools they need, as well as guidance on how to use those tools, to successfully market themselves on Twitter.

Another positive feature of Froilan Dugeno’s book is that within the text, the author consistently emphasizes quality over quantity. Dugeno stresses that the quality of your tweets and your online branding is crucial to attracting the right audience, not the largest audience. The author also states that in order for entrepreneurs to cultivate a following which is in sync with their products or services, they must focus on providing relevant, quality information to their audience. Readers who appreciate honest guidance and who understand that progress may be slow, at first, will truly appreciate this book.

The only negative aspect of Twitter Marketing: The Launch, Tips and Tricks: From Beginner to Expert is that beginning around the half-way point of the book, grammatical errors occur and become increasingly more common. While this may not seem like a particularly serious problem, is can become quite distracting, at times. Grammatical errors, such as missing letters or incorrect tense, also undermine the credibility of the author as a marketing specialist. As a reader, though, I would say that at worst, the errors in the book were bothersome and a little off-putting, although they were certainly not prevalent enough to keep me from continuing on or understanding the content.

Overall, I enthusiastically rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is incredibly helpful for beginning entrepreneurs, such as myself, who are trying to expand their audience and increase visibility in social media. Readers can follow step-by-step instructions and create a focused, tailored approach to increasing their online presence. By taking complicated marketing concepts and breaking them down into accessible information for the novice, Froilan Dugeno’s Twitter Marketing: The Launch, Tips and Tricks: From Beginner to Expert, can easily be considered a valuable marketing tool. Businesspersons, regardless of their level of expertise, should keep this book by their side if they plan on expanding their audience and improving their branding via Twitter.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it! It really was one of the most helpful books I've read on marketing, probably because there are so many hands on examples and tips for readers to use. You can change your marketing strategy while you read, it's amazing! As an author who is trying to get my work out there, this book has already changed how I handle my Twitter account.
