This really does sound amazing. Unfortunately, the price is too high for this one. I have a cap on what I spend on eBooks. I'll have to watch to see if he ever marks it down. That being said, your review really seems to capture the gist of this book. Well done!

Burn Zones by Jorge P Newbery deserves a 4/4 rating based on the reviews I read and seems to be a truly inspirational book to seek in life. Congrats on being the BOTD. :)

Thanks for the great review! I am really looking forward to reading this book. I like that it's an autobiography and the author keeps it real. Life can have picnic moments, but it can also be a brutal jungle and we have to be able to traverse both. The fact that he can be focused on helping others even in his low points is what it's really all about.

Glad that you really enjoyed the book and congrats to the author on December BOTM & BOTD.

This sounds like a real rags to riches story and one that people will be able to relate to in one way or another. We all experience the metaphorical "burn zones" in life and it's always inspirational to hear about the triumphs of other people! Thanks for the great review.

I love the comparison at the end of the Disney type inspirational sports movie. Although I am not a fan of those that's a great descriptive way to portray the book. Congrats of the great review!

Great review. I have added this to my list to read later. I am very excited that there were very few negatives with this novel. Thanks for sharing.

Wow this guy seems to have lead quite the life! Sometimes "inspirational" books can be rather pedantic but this one has an authentic feel to it, or at least that was the impression I got from your review.

The metaphor of the burn zone seems to fit perfectly with this book! I sampled some pages today, and it was an easy read. Jorge's ice cream business was my favorite part. Your information on the punk band producing tat he did piques my interest.

I look forward to reading the rest based on your review! Thanks. :D

Thanks for the review. It takes determination to start working before the age of 10 and have the drive to become a mogul in the business world. I am glad that you liked the book.

I'm glad that it doesn't come across as self serving, as I'm put off by those types of books.

Your review makes me much more interested in reading the book. The sample was a little difficult to read, but your loving the book so much makes me want to tackle the text w/ more vigor next time. This is a very well-written review!
