I'm glad so many of you are saying the book sounds good! It's not often I read one that's such a surprise of awesomeness, especially for review, but this one was amazing, and I hope lots of ya grab it for December! It's an awesome read, and Thanksgiving/Christmas makes a fun time to read it! :D

I remember reading this for a Book of the Month! I loved how the author starts describing his work ethic since he was a child! Going from one burn zone to the next sounds like it could fairly depressing and not motivating, but the author did such a great job in burning through those burn zones. I also love how the author did not sound egotistical, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the read!

An autobiography of a self-made man sounds inspiring indeed. It is great that Jorge seamlessly transitions from one burn zone in his life to the next. Not my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed the book despite the dry real estate sections.
Congratulations to the author on the good review and on being Book of the Day! :tiphat:

Already commented, but since it's BOTD, I want to congratulate the author again for sharing his story and writing such an inspiring book. I read it and really enjoyed it! :)

I think it's really unique when a young child has such motivation to be successful, and I guess that is how Jorge Newbery is able to pull through in the end - the persistence and motivation.

This is a very well written review and I definitely appreciate your honesty in writing it and even in deciding to wait a few days before reviewing it. I've done the same thing with books I've read and really enjoyed. I also appreciate the explanation of the cover in comparison to the story that it's not actually about cycling. I'm not one for biographies or anything like that but this sounds like a book I'd recommend to others who do. Thank you
