How many of you have sat down and picked up those self help books that say change your brain, change your life. Dr. Amen has some inspirational writings. In his book Unleash the Power of the female Brain he discusses the different ways that females can overcome the different obstacles: hormones, pregnancies, menstrual cycles, etc. and utilize those powers to fuel their brain. Unleash the power of the female brain gives the woman different ways to enhance the brain through diet, exercises, meditations, and focus exercises to increase the brain power. It also gives basic information for women to look at in relation to health and hormones. The information in this book is overwhelming and in the days that we have a health epidemic it is nice to read some information from a Dr. so willing to give straight forward facts. I know in this past year since I was recently diagnosed with a neurological condition, this book has helped me figure out some issues and get my drs to look at my condition in a whole new light as well. It may be the start of something new for me because after a long ordeal of unanswered questions, I may finally be getting somewhere, it only took some reading from my part and some questions to get all my specialists to start thinking. Books can do wonders just like Ben Carson stated "think Big" - His book was amazing too I recently read that as well!
