The Greater Journey--Americans in Paris

Post Number:#1  Postby Leonardo Noto » 25 Feb 2012, 15:28

I listened to this one on audio books, The Greater Journey--Americans in Paris, by David McCullough. It was an interesting read that unfortunately was a bit slow at times. The book is about famous Americans (physicians, artists, writers, etc.) who were educated in Paris in the days when America was still a global backwater. I recommend the book, but I probably would have purchased the abrigded version of the audiobook rather than the full length version b/c it is a bit verbose at times.
