The Last Convertible by Anton Myrer

Post by Mysterious »

I wasn't sure I'd care about this book when I saw the title, but it was part of a Reader's Digest Condensed Books so decided to read it. I'm very glad I did, and I've read it 4-5 times already. It may be somewhat slow for some people, but I loved it. There's some history included as well as some good character studies. They made a mini series based on this, and it's okay, but definitely the book is better. If you like good drama, this is for you. It does have a bit of romance, but I wouldn't classify it as a romance novel by any means. Just a very good, character-driven novel that feel real.
