To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Post by jordyn21 »

Let me just start out with saying this is the only book that I was supposed to read in high school that I read more than just the first and last chapter then spark notes. I read the whole book and loved it. It is a book that everyone should read no matter what their likes or dislikes because it is that important of a book. There are so many hidden meanings though so it is best to look those up while reading it because some of the books meanings are hard to catch but once you know what to look for you really gain a lot from this book. I'm sure that when I read this book in 10th grade that I didn't even get everything that there is to get from that book so I plan on reading it again and again because I don't think I would ever get sick of that beautiful and heartwarming book.

"In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you." (Mortimer J. Adler)
