You took the words right out of my mouth! She writes well, the story line is interesting, and keeps you wanting more!cbcorysgirl wrote:Patricia Cornwell is one of my all time favorites. I love her series about Kay Scarpetta, a chief medical examiner. Her books are very enthralling, once I start one I can't put it down. If you like reading crimes and thrillers, any Patricia Cornwell novel is a must read!

I have never read anything by Patricia Cornwell. Based on your description, I am adding her to my list.luluMoon1940 wrote:Patricia Cornwell for her accuracy and attention to detail. She has a background in forensics and it shows. Her non-fiction book following the theory that the artist Walter Sickert was Jack the Ripper, if not convincing, is at least a fascinating book to read.

I have read all of Elizabeth George's novels and the only one I didn't care for was "What Came Before He Shot Her". I like the Barbara Havers character the best.

Reginald Hill's main character in the Dalziel and Pascoe series is the best.
