The Doom Murders by Brian O'Hare

Post by Vermont Reviews »

im Sheehan has his hands full with solving the Doom Murders. A bishop, a principal, and a social worker have been murdered. He and his staff have to find the person responsible before more turn up dead. This case leads the inspector on a wild ride to find the perp before more deaths are added to the growing number. All leads point to the monsignor, but it may be a policeman who is now retired. I found this novel deserving a solid 5 stars. One of my favorite lines from the story. “... what used to be humilation is now simply publicity.” The person who is committing the murders seems focused on righting the wrongs of the church. The author presents the reader with a murder mystery that will keep you wondering right to the very end of the story. Very well done.
