I agree with your point about the contradiction between the characters' thoughts and actions - that can be a major complaint. I'm glad you enjoyed reading the book overall. Thank You for the honest and well written review!

Great review! This sounds like a really thrilling mystery and I like the way you described the characters, especially Sergeant Stewart.

Nice, thorough review. I like mysteries that keep you guessing, but the character development seems off. Glad you were able to enjoy the book despite the character inconsistencies.

The 11.05 Murders by by Brian O'Hare is a Murder mystery which is second in the Inspector Sheehan series. The witty commentary in which the characters are introduced and the overall style of writing is impressive. The reviews give a well deserved 4/4 to this Novel. Congrats on being the BOTD. :)

Thank you for a thorough and entertaining review. I enjoy reading murder mysteries, and appreciate the fact that you didn't give away too many spoilers. I also really do appreciate that you warned potential readers about the explicitness of the subject matter, as I believe that this novel should not be read by very young readers due to its adult themed storyline. As a parent I don't particularly want my children exposed to the violence, rape, and other such subject matter that frequently occurs in these types of books, even though I do enjoy them myself! Excellent review, and very well done!??????

I'm glad to hear that this can be read as a stand alone. I was a bit apprehensive about that. The romance aspect will probably bother me too. I guess I'll see when I read the sample. Thanks for the great review!

This book sounds really good with all the suspense and mystery. I like the idea of multiple murders but also them linking to 12 years earlier. I also like that the main character is female, this help the development of the story. Overall it sounds like a book I would enjoy!

Sounds like an intriguing story, i love mistery stories but im also not a fan of romance mixed with it. Although i could pass it if it truly is as engaging as you said.
