"A secret informant, a possible stalker…" Sounds like a great read despite the poor character development. I like intelligent mysteries and will give it a try. Good job on the review!

This sounds like it was a good read. I'm not sure if it's for me as I tend to like my mysteries to be purely that and not mixed with romance. Multiple love interests sounds like a bit too much for me. But I'm sure others will enjoy it. Thanks for the review!

One thing I know from writing reviews is that thrillers are the hardest. This is a good review. Thrillers contain so many different perspectives. It is very hard to not accidently give out any spoilers yet keep the review good enough for others to decide if they wish to buy this book or not.

The plot makes me think of Jack the Ripper. Does anyone else get that vibe?

Anyway, nice review. Very thorough without giving too much away.

Nice review. It's too bad about Sergeant Stewart's character development though. Congrats on BOTD!

Great review katiesquilts and congrats on BOTD Brian O'Hare! It sounds like a book I would like to read. The romance aspect is actually what I enjoy in my suspense books and I love twists and turns and whodunits that keep you guessing. Adding it to my shelf now. Keep up the good work!

What an intriguing mystery! I was concerned about it being part of a series and not having read the first. I'd probably read the first anyway but that's personal preference. I agree that romances in some novels seem to be a little rushed so it's a bit sad that this one does that too but thanks for the review!

I really enjoy murder mysteries. This sounds like an interesting one! I like that the author used real-life problems in the book. I'm interested to see exactly what problems the police encounter throughout this book. I also think I'll enjoy that there are so many suspects. Great job on the review!

Great job on the review! This sounds like a great book for fans of murder mystery novels. I have to admit, the sample had me captivated from start to finish, no wonder you gave it such a good rating! :)

i love romantic novels but i love mysteries too.. This book is really interesting... i would love to read this novel....in this book Sergeant Stewart's changed attitude towards her love interests might put me off a bit it would have been better if it goes on for some more time ...but yeah great suspense was there... The only thing i didn't like was the sexual violence and rape which I can't handle. Although , book is totally mysterious ... i loved it overall ... Brain O'Hare did great job ...

Great review! I did end up reading this and enjoying it! It was great to be able to jump right in without needing to read the first in the series. I love when authors write characters that are memorable. What makes me interested in this read is that the killer could have been any of the suspects - I love when reads keep you guessing the entire time. Too bad about the contradictions in the characters thoughts. Congratulations to the author for receiving such a positive review!
