Its starts off pretty sad and almost made me cry. A widower in grieving and young children to look after sounds hard, yet with the youngest acting strange saying something else may be lurking makes me want to finish the book. Beautiful start to the book

Great job on the review! I wasn't expecting much after I read the blurb on amazon because it seemed like it wasn't well-written, but after reading your review and the book sample, I was pleasantly surprised. This book is actually very well-written and the premise is also interesting. :)

Very informative review and it peeked my interest. ;) As a devoted Stephen King reader, I am always on the lookout for new thrillers to read. The only thing I'm concerned about is the PG-13 rating. In order to get the full effect of a good story line, I've found it usually needs to be R depending on the scene. I will definitely be checking this book out though. It sounds great!

Great review! Super well written. I am super excited to read this book after reading the sample and your review. Paranormal anything is my drug of choice, add in mystery and suspense, flavored with history. I have got to check it out. I also love a book that flows as smoothly as you describe this one to do. Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for the great review! After just reading the sample, I was very intrigued by the story line and now after reading your review, it most definitely sounds like an interesting and compelling read. I love the fact that story not only deals with the "Ghost" element, it also incorporates a second favorite of mine, the "Historical" element.

Great review! It's always nice to read a book that is well edited and flows nicely, especially after reading so many books that lacked these features.

Thanks for the review. I have never lost a spouse or close relative either, but I am glad that it did not take away from your enjoyment of the book. This sounds great from your thorough review description and would be an exciting read!

Great review! Although I am usually creeped out by ghost stories, this one sounds interesting. I like that you mentioned that, in addition to the standard ghost story elements, there is a nice plot that ties in the past and present. Glad you were able to enjoy the book despite the disappointing ending.
