This book sounds really good, as I like the all the genres it is placed under. Good review.

Since I posted last I came across the sequel "The Alchemist's Son". I just finished reading it and it had a thrilling conclusion. If you get the chance you should read it, it completes the first book.

I have it on my Kindle and it is waiting for me to read!!! I've been so busy, I've hardly had time to do any reading, but I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!

I liked it well enough to consider the sequel--which is something I rarely do!
