This sounds exciting. Thank you for pointing out that there a some graphic scenes in the book. Aside from that I think that I will really like this book. I wonder if I will feel the same way you did about the main character.

This is a great review! I just started reading the book and was curious where it was headed when I decided to check this out, and it looks like I have a lot to look forward to! Also, thanks for the warnings about the violence, as gory scenes are rough for me to read :)

This definitely sounds like a good read! I'm glad it's fast paced because it's hard for me to stay interested in slow paced books. I'm also happy to hear that the scenes are so descriptive, I love being able to see the scene in my head with no problems, great review!

Sounds like a story full of action, albeit the violence. It is often surprising what love will drive some people to do. Thanks for the thought provoking review.

My favorite type of books are crime, triller, and the ones that really seem to grab you by the seat of the pants from the beginning. Upon reading the review done by kimmyschemy06 I've decided that this book needs to go on must read list.

After reading the review, I really don't think I could read this book, but kudos to the author for creating something so vivid that it will enthrall anyone with the stomach to read it.

Wonderful review! Sounds like action packed story that will lead the reader on an amazing adventure. The author describes the agony of losing a loved one and the effects it can have. Cannot wait to escape into my reading chair and lose myself for a few hours into the world of John Kane.

At first I felt I was being bombarded with adjectives and then had my curiosity aroused by the suggestion of the slugs matching another implied crime scene.

Sounds like a great read. I can't wait to dive in and read. Sounds like my kind of read. The violence won't bother me but thanks for the warning.

Thanks for the review! I love reading fast paced books, especially action! It is just terrible when it seems like it takes forever for a book to end and I don't seem to enjoy it as much as I would have if it went a little faster.
