Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Post by lookoutleah_ »

When I first came across this book I was a little iffy. Was this book a must read or was it a passable book? I picked it up, read what it was about and put it back on the shelf. However, the next time I went to the bookstore, I was drawn to the same book so I had to buy it and I am so happy that I did. As soon as I got home I jumped right into it. It's a 'peculiar' book so to speak. I couldn't put it down. The way Ransom Riggs writes is like no other. The pictures he added were a perfect touch. I've never read anything like it. Most of the books I have read are pretty similar but this one was completely different. If you're into the mystery, freaky type of stuff, this book is most definitely for you.
