Great review! As someone who's worked in the medical industry for many years, I think I would really enjoy this one. It sounds like a really interesting read. I also enjoy very good medical dramas and this seems to deliver.

Wonderful review. Very insightful and well written. I think I have to add this to my list. I love it when books have surprising twists.

Sounds intriguing, especially as it provides a front-line perspective on the state of healthcare in the United States. It is now the book of the day!

Congratulations to the author on the great review! :tiphat:

Great review and summary of the characters. Having a narrator in heaven sounds like an odd concept but I bet it gives the story an interesting perspective :). Sounds like my kind of book :)

Wonderful review! I love when books keep you on your toes, especially all the way to the end. I also like the idea that Slater is a character that has flaws, but can still be a good person. Like you said, LivreAmour217, it makes his character and the story more believable. Congratulations to the author for both a positive review and being Book of the Day! :D

Sounds interesting; mixing healthcare with entertainment can highlight a lot of issues. Nice review.

The character of Slater sounds good and 3-dimensional, which is always fantastic. (I'm also glad you honestly said that some of the things he did earlier on annoyed you. That, too, is appreciated.)

Thank you all! I am very pleased that this novel is the Book Of The Day! It's a worthy addition and I hope that you all enjoy it as much as I did! Congrats to the author--it is a well-deserved honor!

Nice review! I am a former hospital CEO who worked in both the not-for-profit and for-profit hospital sectors. I think this novel written from a physician's perspective would be very interesting. I think first-person narratives from two protagonists is a interesting way to tell a story, especially when one of them is narrating from heaven!

Thanks for the review. I think the alternating view points will make this a more interesting story.
