Glad I came across this thread, I love the show and read one of the books after watching it for a few seasons so I wasn't as thrilled with the book I read. They are very different and I love the story of Temperance and Booth. After reading this I am going to give the books another go.

I agree. It's almost better to treat them as two separate stories so not to get too caught up on all the differences.

I love both the series for the relationship between the characters and the incredible technology, and the books for the details and the drama. Such good books to keep going back to.
