I read all of Patterson's different series. When I started reading "First to Die", I was surprised to see how well a man had written the female protaganists. I even double checked to see if it was cowritten.

I'm just about to begin seventh heaven. I haven't read any of the books in the series and seventh heaven will be the first. However, I played a game adaptation of the series and I have read a number of other James Patterson novels. I look forward to reading the entire series.

If you haven't started reading yet, I recommend that you take a trip to the library and try to get the first few. Although each book has a separate mystery, there is an ongoing personal story about the relationships between different characters. If you read the books out of order, you will have spoilers about the romantic subplots.

I also read and watch on TV the Women's Murder Club. I enjoyed both the book and the TV Series.

Love this series! I have read them all so far and none have disappointed. The characters just come alive and I want to read more and more. I really like most of his books but a couple I couldn't read.
I love a good murder but once in a while he gets a bit too gory for me. It is rare I don't finish a book. This series really has everything I love in a good murder.

I absolutely love this series! James Patterson has a phenomenal way with painting the characters and scents with his words! In reading this series I felt like I was right there in the books and had a hard time setting them down! Highly recommended series!!

I had a hard time putting it down once I started getting in to it! This is an awesome book series and it's nice to see women as the main characters instead of men! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I have read the entire series except for 15th Affair in which I'm reading currently. I'm enjoying the introduction. Can't wait to get into the guts of the story. :D

I stopped reading this series at book 13. It is a really good, well written series. I will eventually catch up with the series. The main character is very believable and each book is its own adventure.

I am a huge fan of this series of novels. I have read the first fourteen books. I had to take a break from them because they were all that that I was reading. I look forward to catching up with the series over the holidays. As far as the author, he is one of the best. I recommend all of his books.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

I have not read the 17, 18, 19, or 20, but I am looking forward to reading these. I have enjoyed the series so far. I might even reread them starting with #1.
