I liked the reviewer's take on this book. It was very concise and explained the story very well. I am sure fantasy book lovers will enjoy this one, especially since the main character is blind and very accomplished at handling the difficulties along the way!

Fantasy normally isn't my thing. However, after reading your review of it, it doesn't sound bad. I have kindle unlimited, so I'll be putting it on my to read list. Thanks for the great review.

Thank you so much for this detailed review. I started reading the sample and thought that maybe I was not going to like the book, but now I want to give it a go and feel immersed in this different world.

The first two paragraphs really captivated my attention! I want to know if the Princess ends up falling in love and how it ends! I shall start reading it since you gave it a 4 out of 4, I bet I will enjoy it! :D

Thanks for the review. I sometimes find fantasy books to be all the same but it sounds like this one was a little different for you, so I'm glad that you were able to find it enjoyable.

Putting this on my 'to-read' list. Glad there's no continuity issues, that's really important to me. Sounds like a winner.

Thanks for your review of Bard's Exile by Carolyn Gross. Your comments on this fantasy is descriptive enough of the storyline and characters to draw my curiosity. Since you have only positive comments on this unique tale, I will get this book which I otherwise would have overlooked.

Great review! I, too, love a great fantasy. I only read the sample but Marek seems like an intriguing character. It is always interesting to me to see how individuals with disabilities overcome them. His blindness was not obvious in the first chapter since he fought and ran so well. It floored me to find out he was blind. Looking forward to reading more.

I am not a fan of fantasy fiction, bit this review almost makes me want to read it. I find the arranged marriage aspect interesting in a futuristic book. Not learning the lessons of the past? Generally I am not enough of a right brain to invent or picture alternate world's so I generally steer clear.

I love books where the underdog prevails, and your review made the story sound very unique and interesting. I'd also like to add that the cover is gorgeous!

This isn't normally a genre I'd be drawn to, but betw. the sample and the great review, I'd love to read this!
