It seems like kind of a philosophical book in fiction. Great review. I find it interesting that the one immortal following Buddhist principles finds the main character to carry out the act he cannot do.

Sounds super intriguing! I think being immortal would be pretty cool. Your review was excellent too. Great job!

Another thing that is almost as old as time — well, at least as old as writing — is the odd typing mistake (I know, we all make them!). That is why the first sentence should read "The quest for immortality is a tale as old as time" (not ""The quest for immortality is a tale as old has time").

I find it interesting when fiction is mixed with reality.

Awesome review. The difference in the religious cultures always tie the hands of an individual. It would be very interesting to know the fate of the evil Chang So.

Thank you very much for the review. I would have loved this book when I was younger and into the "Highlander" sagas. Now as I am older I will have to pass on this one.

Very interesting, after reading a few pages i was shocked by the evils that war can bring, the inhuman scientific and military experiments are horrors which today are unacceptable. Thanks to the Buddhist religion which not only believes in extension of life but also gives a lot of value to human life.

I agree and I would like to see how the research regarding longevity unfolds and if we can really make someone an immortal. But I would certainly not want to live forever because of obvious reasons. Can anyone think of a good reason to live for more than, say, 10,000 years?
