This book sounds interesting, and I'm not too familiar with "Urban Fantasy," plus, I haven't read a book this long for a couple years, and that's a bit intimidating. I love to read and I love to write, but with three kids and a ton of chaos in my life, I'm not so sure I'm up for the challenge! Eeek!

It would definitely be a great book to start now, a few weeks before November. I added it to my Kindle and to my bookshelf so let's do this! Ready to try this out...thank you, "Jacknthbox" for the review to introduce me to the book and give me the motivation to try it out.

This sounds like a really enjoyable book. Thanks for the great review! It also sounds like there will be a lot to talk about in the book of the month discussions.

Thanks for the review. Seems like the author has so much in his mind and not focused on a theme. Took a lot of guts to pull this one off to the readers. Interesting.

This was an amazing use of imagination and intrigue for that of a young girl. As a female that appreciates the world of diversity for females well written. I thoroughly enjoyed the sample.

A young boy who learns about his Celtic heritage and dark secrets...and he's part of a mythology! He could become a warrior of Light or a harbinger of Darkness...sounds exciting! I love how you mentioned how original this work is and how captivating it is! It's also great to hear that you found character development to be a strong suit here. I did give this one a try a while back and found it hard to get into, but I'm that you and so many others found it enjoyable! Thank you for the lovely review!

Fantasy is not a book I would tend to pick up, but I have to admit, the review did leave me wanting more. I have to check this out, because my daughter loves this type of literature. I would love to turn her on to a new book she would enjoy. The historical side of this book is what appeals to me the most.

I enjoyed your thorough review. Although I don't usually care for urban or dark fantasy books, the mix of cross-cultural legends and real history sounds intriguing. It's also nice to hear that the story is fast-paced. Congrats to the author for receiving a glowing review and having the Book of the Day.
