I've completed reading this book and yet to write a review.

I would agree with everything that the reviewer has said. If I had to describe this book/story in one word, it would be 'Enchanting', though I feel that word would also be a bit mild considering the narration of the darkness and the light through the characters.

This book is something that I got really interested in in going about reading in one shot without
putting my Tab down, but you know, life has its priorities.

I would very much like to give this a 4 out of 4, but considering the policies of onlinebookclub
of not giving a 4 unless the editing is totally thorough without any formatting or spelling hick-ups,
I would like to give this a 3, because there ARE spelling mistakes.

I recommend this book for any mature adults and not for ages below them, as there are scenes
of gory violence and unspeakable perverse.

Thanks for the review!

I love fantasy! I almost signed up to review this book but I decided not to because I felt like it was a little too long and I wouldn't have enough time to read it properly and spend the time that the book deserves. I'm thinking of just buying it and reading it on my own schedule without reviewing it.

This is a perfect read for the teens. Roan is an amazing character in the story because of his mysterious background. He will bring us to the fantasy world as he advances to the tangled events of his life.

Great review. A YA fantasy about a boy on the cusp of changing and the strange place he finds himself intrigues me. Grabbing it asap congrats on being BOTD.

Wow this book sounds like a great read! I tend to not read fantasy especially Urban fantasy but I am going to check it out. Conor sounds like an exciting character.

I agree that world building is a crucial element in this type of book. I have seen some that do it well and many that do it poorly. It sounds like this book is one that does this well. I'm extremely interested to see what happens. Thanks for the review.

This sounds like a great YA book! I'm not into fantasy too much but this book sounds like it is worth a read!

Fantasy is my absolute favorite genre! By the review it sounds to be worth the read. Celtic myth is a weakness of mine. Throw that in with everything else this book has it sounds like my cup of tea.

It sounds like the author put a lot of thought and effort into developing the world and characters in this book. Though this is not my top choice genre, it's good to know where to turn if I'm looking to get back into it!
