Nightlord is a new take on original vampires. The review catches the attention.

I decided to give this book a bash based on your review and found it a hit and a miss. While the characters were in most parts fun and the storyline interesting, I found the length a bit off putting and the amount of different tangents to the story too many to absorb. Eric accomplished more in a short period of time than most groups of people ever do! A very interesting take on vampires (plus others) though. Bronze and Firebrand were awesome!

I found your review very interesting, but I had a completely different experience with this book. I too reviewed NIghtlord, but I found it less than thrilling. There were too many details and not enough growth of Eric as a character. Nevertheless, I appreciated your review.

I whole-heartedly agree that this is definitely a refreshing take on vampires, which pulled me into the story! Plus, Eric's who take on his new world is comical to read, making the whole reading experience completely immersive.

Excellent review! Always great to see a new take on vampires. :)

This is a good book and very interesting. After Eric loses his girlfriend. He gets drunk and wakes up the next morning in the bed with a woman he didn't know. However this woman of the night has turned him into a vampire. Little did he know after taking this journey. He had also acquired many enemies. When one of his friends is murdered and he seeks revenge. It opens up another door to trouble. He also made friends along the way to help him seek justice. He is different but he still needs food and blood to survive.

Your review does an impressive job of showcasing this book. After reading it, I immediately started looking for Nightlord: Sunset . A different kind of vampire is difficult to accomplish with the numerous ones available. But one who is technically alive in the day? Oh, the possibilities. I will enjoy this book if only for that.

Thank you for the fantastic review! :tiphat:

Finally, a new take on the vampire genre which avoids the usual romance that is so popular nowadays. Great review, bluemel4.

Thank you for an enthusiastic review. I still don't think it is quite for me, however, but your analysis was great!

This is an amazing epic fantasy novel that starts off with suspense and continues to build that momentum. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats #BOTD

Sounds pretty interesting and like my kind of story; I especially like the idea of adding new dimensions to vampirism. I'm not sure about using journal entries, but everything else sounds so good that perhaps I'll give it a try.

Nice, insightful review! I like that the story is a blend of fantasy and reality, since I am not a fan of books that are completely fantasy. Although vampire books are not usually my cup of tea, this one sounds interesting because it has an injection of humor.

Your review is so good that I want to read this book now. I liked the highlighted message - not allowing what you are to define who you are. I enjoy epic adventure fantasy so I think I'll like this one ?
