I haven't read very many many sci-fi stories. I don't have a lot of time to read and I have a few other genres that I prefer so I usually choose from those first, but after reading your review I think I would be interested in reading this book. The mystery and fast pace, writing that "shows" not just "tells", the tension and intrigue, and the well-developed characters all make me want to read this book. Thanks for the great and honest feedback! I understand your point about the ending feeling rushed -I've read a myriad of books which are awesome and which I'm enjoying a lot, right up until I reach the end. Rushed endings ruin the fun of a good book, in my opinion.
