Review : 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz

Post by Shalini21 »

This book is about an apartment called Pendleton in 77 shadow street. This apartment had a very weird and scary history where the previous owners died in a so not very good way. One of the resident, Silas was really interested in the history of the Pendleton and further researched through it. He found out that every thirty eight years someting horrible happened in Pendleton which caused the previous owners, the first one to attempt suicide and also the next owner and his family were brutally murdered by his butler. Silas also realized that the last time this happened was 1973, meaning the next horrible thing might be occuring thirthy eight years from then which was in 2011, unfortunately the date that day was 1st of December 2011. Silas somehow knew something really bad was going to happen and soon weird things started happening. Shadows were seen by the other residents and they also heard voices. Long story short, this book is a one day event where it revolves around each and every resident in the Pendleton and how they survive the day and will they all make it through this Hell.
